Extra virgin olive oil
On the farm of two lakes, on the Herdade dos Lagos you mayfind a variety of autothonous and Spanish olive trees on the 80 hactare olive orchard.
After the olives haven been cold-pressed they are turned into the highest quality olive oil, the extra virgin olive oil. For fruit pressing we use the highest quality press. The stones are removes before the pressing process by state-of-the-art technology as they are responsible for the bitter taste of olive oils.
Following the fruits are worked gently at low temperatures exclusively by mechanical proceedings. All of the process steps are under regular quality controls.
