Tasting:
Highly concentrated, intensive fruit-aroma of blackberries and blackcurrant, unobtrusive harmonic wood-note and a very long lasting flavour.

Vinification:
vinified through the traditional process of fermenting must together with husks in stainless steel tanks with fermentation temperatures around 28°C, and matured in French and American oak barrels for 6 months.

Predicted longevity: 6 years;

Analysis:

Alcohol content: 13.5 % v/v

Total Acidity: 6.6 g/L tartaric acid

pH: 3.53

Residual sugars: 2.9 g/L

Service: should be served at a temperature between 16 to 18°C,
to accompany meat dishes and cheese;

Conservation:
bottles should lie in a ventilated dark place, with a temperature
between 12 and 13°C and relative humidity close to 60%;

Text for the back label: The 2006 HDL Syrah Reserva is an Alentejo regional wine produced from Syrah grapes originating from Herdade dos Lagos, in the municipality of Mértola.

With its highly concentrated, intensive fruit-aroma of blackberries and blackcurrant, unobtrusive harmonic wood-note and a very long lasting flavour.

This wine has not been filtered or stabilised, so may contain sediment. Contains sulphites.
